Frame: Dark Brown - Tan Band
Lens: Brown-Clear Gradient

The style of these just doesn't do it for me. However, I feel like this color combo is awesome. The dark brown frame and the tan band are excellent together and to top it off with brown clear gradient lenses adds an excellent touch. Its just too bad that even the cool color scheme couldn't salvage the style. I guess if you are really into the retro thing this might do but be prepared to pay too high of a cost for a cheap looking pair of shades. Again, eye coverage is excellent and the frame is very light weight.

I find these kind of upsetting. I guess I expected more out of the combo of Shaun White and Oakley. The frames aren't bad, but they're bland and flat. There's very little curvature to the actual opticals, and the shapes are a little odd. I owned these for less than a week...then realized I just won't wear them. I guess, on the right face, they're fine...but I expected more.

Great sunglasses,i just received my Stretchline version and i like the style.I guess my face is right for this style:) . Simple, oldschool, straight, cool, not so popular, just few words to describe.I like it very very much. But before You make Your own decision go to Your O dealer and try them, maybe with some friends so they can tell how You look

Really cool pair. The glasses are virtually straight, temples, nosebridge, lens, everything, almost perfectly straight. The style is pretty cool, but you have to have the right face to pull it off. Overall a really nice pair, but the only complaint I have is the lens are a little too light for my taste.

Ive been wantign the olice tortoise frame colour for so long and wanted to get a montrefrio before they stopped being stretch, so this was the only choice in my eyes. i like the coverage and they are comfortable but i find them too rigid to wear for longer than a few minutes. they feel very bulky on my face and ofcourse come with the much overused grey lens so this really is a great looking pair that i will never wear.

Frame: Polished Black - Chrome Band
Lens: Black Iridium

My opinion of these changed drastically when I saw them in person. They looked cool online but when I saw them in real life they looked real cheap. The one thing I liked about this pair was the chrome band. It looked real good against the polished black frame. These actually fit my big head pretty good. But the look of them were pretty bad. For some reason these look real cheap to me. Eye coverage was excellent and the frame was very light weight. It was just the style that killed it for me.

Neat, Retro 70's theme. I ordered Olive and the color (although not a lot of green in the overall color, my pair seemed to have more brown hues) is classic in theme plus the 70's band w/ s t r e t c h logo is a nice feature too.

YEAH, I just bought another Montefrio. The olive tortoise mostly looks kinda grey-green. Still a nice shade. Not as flashy as the brown gradient one. Seems to be heavier than the brown one - but both Montefrios I have sit heavy on the nose.

I can see what Oakley and Shawn White were going for here, but how many times have you said to yourself, "Self, today I want to look like a mustache-wearing porn director from the early 70's"? This retro look must take some real getting used to because, so far, I just don't think it is flattering on anyone. Phil can almost "rock" it, but even he reminds me of some eccentric character off a 70's episode of Columbo. Shawn White should stick to his day job.

These glasses are very boxy and straight. Across the front they are very flat, with no curvature at all.

They are extremley different looking. They're good if you want to look retro or stand out from the crowd. Nowhere near my favourite pair of Oakleys. When I'm wearing them I think of all the other pairs I could be wearing instead.

Good for a laugh but not good for a primary pair.

I really like them. For me, these is the best o-matter with these new stems... the fives 3.0 and the gascan aren't wearable for me, they slide all the time - you can only use them for lying in the sun. The Frio fits better and doesn't slide that much (but the fit isn't compareable to a fives 2.0 or a x-metal).
And the styling... quite strange and grandpa-like, but I love!

i had these the first day when oakley brought them to the stores, and i liked them instantly! not often do i have this when a new model has come out. it takes a special kind of person to get away with wearing these. A+ for anybody outthere who has em

I saw Fred wearing this and I do not like the style at all. What the hell is Shaun White thinking of. Even the name is no good

I didn't think to much of them when i first viewed them online. to my suprise the fit my face(asian). I picked them up on ebay. I really like the stretch oakley on the ear stems. they make me feel and look like bruce lee, which is very cool. These are more for style than function, but who cares.

I also picked up a pair of black/grey lenses.

These definately grow on you!! I have to say that I Never! thought I would get these when I first saw pictures of them but I bought them the day they came into the O Store. Theyre actually comfortable but Im really diggin the olive tortoise more than anything else.

Just picked these up off ebay. I think the Montefrio will go down as a "it's growing on me" pair. I wasn't too thrilled when they first came out, but the more I wear it, the more I like it. Love the chrome stretch and band on the earstems. Wish the grey was ____ iridium.

These are a little Ray Charles-esque. The color is cool and so is the metal strip which adds a little dressiness to the frame. However, the front is very flat and a little boring. I dont' know how often I will wear them, but they are kinda cool. If nothing else it's an interesting color for the collection.

I can't really say that I'm too crazy about these. The styling has some potential, but it just doesn't cut it for me. IMO, Oakley's take on the Wayfarer style. But that's just me.

Another slight disappointment. And not in the styling. I really liked it, honest. It does seem wider than the Gascan, but it could all be an illusion with the flat lenses. So it slides and shifts just as the Can does when I wear it. I wiggled my nose, my ears and I was really sweating to give it a good test too. Just not a tight enough grip created by the stems. Not enough curve inward.

Edit: Sweat meat, what a treat. I purchased a Frio recently (about 2-3 months after the initial trial) and without taking back everything I said, it really is a nice, relaxed style. In the cooler weather it fares very well and stayed put. It also helps wearing it higher up on the nose than say, a pair of Monster Dogs.

They actually had three colorways in stock but the olive/grey looked the coolest so that was the one i tried on. I have to say, they fit surprisingly well. The orbitals are shaped similar to the crosshairs but the base curve is relatively flat so even those with a lot of "cheek meat" should be able to wear them.

Still, I'm just not a fan of the overall design so I'll take pass on these. They look like something Elvis Presley would wear. If he was an Oakley fan. And still alive. But that's just me, others will probably find them great.

Saw these in an unfinished state without the Stretch logo on the arms. They have stems similar to the Gascan, but with a rounder orbital. The metal chunk in the hinge is a nice touch, but I honestly don't see myself ever buying these unless they come out with some crazy frame color. Olive Tortoise sounds interesting though.
