That's actually exactly how my first web page looked.

Another rumor is the revival of the Half Pint division, with the Quarter Jacket. A Half Jacket style for kids priced at around $80 or so.

That would be really cool. I have a couple of sons that would love that!

For sure. I can't risk the Half Pints at this point since they're getting up there in age and I imagine they will be harder to find at time goes on.

Half Pints only seem to be fitting for kids 5 and under (ish). They quickly graduate into a Five(S) or one of the few small frames.

Sadly, I can hardly get my boy to wear a pair of glasses, despite keeping a pair in each car should he ever decide to change his mind.

I heard it won't have compatibility with existing lenses. Hopefully that means the lens hooks are pushed out a little bit to help with peripheral coverage possibilities.

I was hoping for a Switchlock aspect, the biggest weak spot of the M Frame was the lenses cracking at the hooks. So let's cross our fingers they took notes during 24 years of service from the M.

The recent improvements they've made driving from the SI program have been nice. Slightly bigger Strike lens to extend peripheral coverage wrap, slightly taller to meet the cheek better, anti-fog coating, harder material in the nose piece makes it more difficult to fall off and less likely to take on the curve from the lens to keep tension over time.

The new Strike is NICE, I hope they carry the size and fit over, and have a Heater equivalent that's as big. None of that Range junk, what a weak lens that was.

If they're following the current trends, this seems like a shield Half Jacket 2.0 and switch lock is reserved for only the upper tier models. I did hear lens incompatibility but I suppose no progress can be made if they hold themselves to old standards.

Is this new whiff lense compatible with current m frames?

Does look like a botched half jacket/M-Frame/foakley. Until I see one in person I think I'm out

Love it. Adds more bite to the otherwise outdated M Frame.

I didn't like the pointy-ness much on the stems of the Gen3 and I don't like the pointy-ness on the Gen4. Just like the Gen3, I'll only be interested if it comes in Electric Mustard, haha.

I'm not sure I understand the design of that lens. It doesn't look like it will fit along the cheek very well, the lowest spot is out too far where all previous M Frame and Radar lenses are already scalloped.

Good call it does look like they are borrowing from the ESS line a bit.

I finally was able to try one on. If you take a tour at HQ, then will ask you to leave your O's at the front desk, but you still need to wear safety glasses, so they loan you a Crossbow for the duration. I really want to get a pair in Bone/VR28.

Glad you got to try the Crossbow. I know you wanted one for a while, and it seems like a pretty cool frame.

Why wouldn't they give you an M Frame or 2.0 or 3.0? Essentially the same pair, but the ESS has the current style of earsocks.

I know Oakley owned ESS before Lux took over (and there's still some cross-pollination), just seems odd you're at HQ and they pass out non-Oakley wear when they have a line of industrial/military safety glasses.

Are you saying you want a Crossbow in Bone/VR28? You're looking at like a $50 investment. The "Terrain Tan" frame is $22 http://www.esseyepro.com/Crossbow-Tri-Tech-Fit-Frame-Kit-Terrain-Tan_328_detail.html and the "Hi-Def Copper" lens is $28 http://www.esseyepro.com/Crossbow-Hi-Def-Copper-Lens_177_detail.html

Anyway, here's a 3.0 in Bone with VR28 for you.
