I'm not quite sure what to make of this, but the press release states pushing boundaries, and I can't quite argue with that.

It's billed as a Performance Lifestyle piece. Just when I thought I had the new categories solidified.

It's definitely a road we haven't seen them venture down 🤔

They look like they don't wrap too much which might make for some interesting Iridium effects!

"Performance Lifestyle" sounds like a euphemism for 'active'.

An interesting release for sure.

I have a suspicion the naming of these can be derived with some Urban Dictionary assistance...

Trill - An adjective used in hip-hop culture to describe someone who is considered to be well respected, coming from a combination of the words "true" and "real".

Trillbe = Be True / Be Real

The times, they are a changing...

Wasn't "Trillbe" used as a working title for another release, or am I having another one of those 'senior moments'?

Not that I can recall, but that doesn't mean anything. LOL

It appeared on the Trademarkia site a while back. Some of those registered names appeared quickly, while others sat forever.

No word. I assume they're an R3, so late August or September. But maybe sooner given the press release.

Didn't even notice that. At this point, I'll assume it's a perspective thing.

I really want to like these but I have a feeling they'll look ridiculous on me. Is this the first shield lens with a keyhole nosebridge?

I believe so, as the only others I can think of are the Madman/Badman.

Pure lifestyle stuff like the Latch has the keyhole nosebridge as well as some others. Can't recall off the top of my head an Oakley shield that has a keyhole nosebridge. Probably for a reason...it's an odd pairing for something slanted toward more active wear.

I thought the same. I had figured it part of the Women's line when I first saw it.
