one of the reasons for my return was the cheap workmanship of earmstems and hinges. I can accept that in mumz collection but not in oakley new 2022 product premium line.

Mine hasn't arrived yet but I'll keep mine regardless. I don't have the Gold Xeus and sorry to say wouldn't have noticed the differences between the two if it wasn't for the OR. So either way for me it'll be great to have this pair since I don't have the first release. I can see why some would be disappointed if they have both. Since I don't this Xeus will be welcomed. Plus I'll be honest I'm probably not going to wear them often. $470 is a lot for a pair that doesn't meet your standards - so I don't blame people for returning them though.

What does the display look like?

There is no display. It's just a nice box with a fancy silver sleeve. I think that display portion was a copy/paste error from the Gold Xeus.

Ugh. Yeah, I was prepared for that. So why does it cost $470 then? LOL Again, although I was prepared for this a little part of me was still hoping there'd be something. I wasn't expecting the Tokyo display or anything close to that but was hoping for something. Being a Graphic Designer I do like packaging and there's definitely a huge cool factor with well done packaging and the presentation it can make. So I'm still excited to see it.

I could imagine the $80 difference between the gold and silver is attributed to the lack of display packaging and that the silver is not a small batch run. As for why it's $470? ::shrug:: Maybe their costs are really high with the Xeus, or more likely they figure suckers like us will buy into it (which we did).

Ordered one, but the shipping company left it at the wrong address..... I hope I will get a hold of it.

I got mine today, I like them. I am digging this chrome color, I hope to see it in more frames. The all chrome Kato looks great.

I actually like the thinner stems; makes them lighter and even more comfortable than the originals! And the custom bag is a nice surprise.

The katos don’t budge at all. They’re honestly perfect for sport. Most sport frames are definitely built for sport. Unlike some other brands
