Hey guys. I'm Matt from Alberta, Canada. I'm 23 years old and currently studying Optometry (3rd year, almost done!) in Waterloo, Ontario. I stumbled across this site about 3 months ago but just got around to joining now.

First off, hats off to Dann and everyone responsible for this site. Everythings already been said, so I second all the praise.

I've been an Oakley nut since I was about 15 and bought my first pair of eye jackets (full metal/black). When they introduced the Romeo in 97, I was hooked for life. Foolishly, but so worth it, I spent my summer clothes money on my MJ Romeo (2701) in '97 and I've been hooked since. I started posting my collection, but I have to study for my last final, so I'll finish that later.

One cool part of my collection is the fact that I have the MJ Romeos, Juliets, and Leather Mars, and I have each matching poster with Jordan wearing them. When I grow up and have my own house, each poster will be framed on the wall, with the matching Oakleys displayed underneath.

As for future aspirations, I'd like to be an OPD some day. I mentioned that I'm studying Optometry, and my love of Oakley had a small role in that decision. As a future eyecare professional, I appreciate the unsurpassed optics and poison protection provided by Oakley, and I can't wait to be able to pass that quality on to my patients.

I feel like I'm rambling now, so I'll close with an addition to the P.W. club. My most recent purchase, sadly, almost 9 months ago. Later Bros

Matt great to have you abord finally. Now beware you are gonna need to finish that optometry degree real soon so you can start working to pay for the obsession that will grip you like nothing before, and empty your wallet with such vigor.
Good Luck controlling it!!
It's great to have your expertise here on optometry, I gather you'll now be hit up for some info.

So...welcome to the family!!

Welcome! My advice to you is to forget about this place until you are finished at Uni. This place takes up far too much time when essays and projects are due!

Don take that the wrong way though. This place is amazing. Enjoy!

That's an awesome username Matt! We always love getting new family members.
A side note to Dist.earth; Give it up man! You're never gonna sell that kidney. Let's say Oakley did made a filter that could be attached to your kidney (let's call it the K-Wire) that filtered alcohol as if it were UV rays, then maybe someone would. Myself, I would run right out and get the Over-The-Gut!
