We got the Gascan and Bottlecap almost two weeks ago.

Interestingly, while all the guidebook updates say the Bottlecap lenses aren't interchangeable, they pop in and out even more easily than the HJs.

I'm thinking the only thing that makes them "not interchangeable" is the fact that they won't be selling lens kits in so many places.

Neil- where in Orlando do you work?
also, I tried taking out the the lenses in a BottleCap with the manager of my local OPD, and we stopped because it seemed like it was straining the frame.

Man, I keep looking at the Fuel/fire combo that Phil did & it's really growing on me. I would totally wear that!

I would love to see that tribal design on the Gascans - where's FP??? He needs to take some of this to HQ - we need an OR Special Edition run....

Definitely an OR exclusive of some model. We've earned it right?

I asked my friend in my head & he said we've definitely earned it. He also told me I've earned a monster truck & a date with Jessica Alba so there's a pretty good chance all of these things will happen! WooHoo!

I think we deserve an exclusive.

We definitely deserve an exclusive. Only problem is deciding what it would be. Everyone here has different tastes. I personally would like to see a Juliet. I find it's the most universally fitting and honestly, almost everyone here owns at least one, so we know that they're popular. But then again, that might be the reason to NOT go for a O-R Juliet. People might want to see something new.

There you go, a whole new model just for us.

I think "review" would actually be a cool model name. Another cool name would be the "Faithful"

An O-R Jigsaw? That would be alright. And make it exclusive to members of this site. But that's obvious.

I would want to see options. Oakley produces 3 models in an OR color scheme like the Ducati line for us to choose from.

Sounds good to me. Just not all Black on Black like the Ducati stuff. I'm a little sick of that.

Isn't a lot of the Ducati stuff silver gray and red?

It's listed as Dark Grey. I guess Carbon Juliet's/Hatchet's are the exception.

Sorry, I just meant the Ducati Juliets. I wasn't really clear about that, though. Actually, not at all. Sorry guys.

Brian, I work at Sunglass Icon @ Downtown Disney West Side, across from Bongos (Gloria Estefan's restaurant).

I did it about thirty times with one pair this morning (trying to squeeze HJ XLJ lenses in, while I was at it) and the frame in question appears to have suffered no more ill effects than an HJ frame would have.

I'm keeping it as a vendor repair so I can play with it some more during slow shifts and see if it loosens up or something.

Are there any other O-town O-review people around?

I saw a pic of the Black Chrome/Titanium Bottlecap in the SGH BUZZ 2nd Quarter breakdown we get. It looks okay. I still say Black Chrome looks more bronze. It also states our front door Oakley promotion will be May and is set to feature the Crosshair, Whisker and Bottlcap. No mention of the Gascan. Our system does now have SKUs for the Matte Black/Grey and Polished Rootbeer/Bronze Gascans.

So there is going to be a Matte/Grey Gas Can? That is what's listed in the glasses section here. But whenever I see the Gas Can colorways in other places it says the frame for the grey lens is polished black.

That may be our exclusive then. Kinda basic though for an ex, but I also noticed all of Oakleys listings listing Grey with Polished Black and the Matte Black Frame with Grey Polar.

Until it's released on o.com, takeour listing with a grain of salt. I've changed things a few ties already. Crystal Merlot seemed to become Grape. Pink Iridium on the Riddle became G30 Black, Crosshair Pink Black became regular Pink. It keeps altering.

I gotcha...It's all just a BIG tease...to get me all jazzed and then pull the switch-a-roo, just to laugh at my confusion. I see how it is!!

In all seriousness though, I'm really liking the Matte frame for the Gas Can, from what I've seen and heard of it. But I don't know if I want another pair of O's with Black Irid. That's why I've been real curious about whether or not the Matte frame will have more than one combo.
