I take the time to draw this up so you can all see it before lunch and I'm trying to get another project out too. I guess this shows where my priorities lie. Long live the O-Review and let's hope my next job gives me this kind of freedom to be online all day while I'm working.

So anyway, I took a real good look at this sucker so this is close. They had functioning versions, clay sculpts and sketches on display for this. It was big, so mine may not be as thick or whatever but you're going to ge tthe picture.

Needless to say Do Not Repost this image up above.

Very nice work Phil! I know what you mean about work and the review, it's all gone to sh*t here so I thought it made sense to have a time out and check the review. And this cheered me right up :) Nice one

Thanks for taking the time to do that, Phil.

Huh. The layout seems to be one of the most awkward I've ever seen.

I felt like the face had the links close together, as if 4 of the links were permanently connected.

Don't go by what I placed on the face. I just know it was GMT like. The band, and case are pretty close to dead on though. Like I said, it's prob bulkier than I drew it and I'm not sure about the spacing ont eh band. The "tread wheels" on the band actually look like bullets (minus the shell) facing each other.

I swear it was 3 even spaced but larger than waht was ont eh band. Making the two center ones the knobs. I'll work up another real quick though anyway.

If it is 4...

And here's my sketch before I went into illustrator. You can get a dimensional idea of the band looking like bullets.

It'll be interesting to see it for real again now and compare how much I remembered. Who wants to see what else I can remember seeing in there with regression hypnotherapy? Or perhaps there's stuff I remember and just haven;t let it out yet? :p

Awesome job Phil,it always amazes me how you can put your thoughts down on paper.
I can't even draw something i'm familiar with, let alone something top secret that you only saw for like 5mins,and 4 months ago.
Heres my "Professional" drawing of a time bomb....

That's great Phil - thanks for taking the time. Your sketch gives me a good idea of what the band'll look like. Very cool.

Hey Phil,
Thanks for taking the time to sketch that up for everyone. The band looks cool, but I'll reserve judgement on the face/dial until i see it in person.

if my computer at work had an internet connection, i wouldn't be doing any work either. too bad the boss saw this problem too, and keeps only one comp connected in the whole office.

anyway, can't wait to see the actual watch!

No, I work. So far I sent a community neighborhood redevelopment sell-sheet off for approval. I also spent most of my morning fixing up the floor plan for it and tightening up the map I drew for it.

I sent off a few Pocono Mountains ads. Opened a few new jobs for more Pocono Mtns ads.

Closed out a few other jobs.

Wondered about a few jobs I have in limbo.

Put off a job or two that I need to work on, but it'll at least give me something to do tomorrow once the Pocono ads are done.

I surf the web a lot, and get bored quick. I figure as long as I offer to help another artist here and there and do a certain amount of work/output each day I look good.

Oh, it only really took me a few minutes to actually draw the watch. Even less time each update. Except that last one, but I cleared my plate for the most part.
