Jose, you don't need to know what Brembos are. Your New Yorker rocks drums front and rear, don't it?

Took a trip down to the Local HSV dealer today..... what ever for.
Anyways i was chatting to the guy about your new ride Rick and he said he had a call from a guy in the states who wanted to convert his G8 back to an SS Commodore, all that was needed was:
New Hood
Front Bumper assembly and all the Badging (headlights are the same)
- New airbag if your desperate for the full look.
I guess there were some other smaller parts but all uo he said it was between $5-6000AUD to have it done
It would give it a unique look over there and is not as hard to do as one might think.

Yeehaw! That is one helluva warwagon. Picked up my new '09 Pontiac G8 GT last night. Went with Liquid Red Metallic. I'll post pics tonight. Mike, you know me and keeping things stock - although rocking a SS-V around town would be cool. For now, a HSV sticker will have to do!

No that is a pleasure to see, Congrats on a perfect purchase there Rick

Truthfully i have never been a lover of the Holden brand, but when they released the new Model Commodore/G8 i was hooked.

So much so that if i was in the market for a new car I'd get one. Just really love the lines and strength it portrays.

Thanks guys. This one replaces the MKZ Lincoln my wife was driving. With us both working at the same school within walking distance of home, we decided to lose the chick car and add a little bhp's to the equation. The quality of that Lincoln was not what you would expect from a car that price. The G8 sin't a 500SL by any stretch, but it is MORE than you would expect for what we paid. We rec'd some nice incentives from the dealer on this one. I'm a little disappointed with the quality of sound coming from the Blaupunkt, but the chasis, engine, and guts of this car really impress me.

Is anyone a fan of Acura? I hear they're about to unveil their re-released supercar, the NSX, in the next few weeks. I hope the design doesn't end up like last summer's spied pics. Too BMW-ish for my tastes.

The arrival of spring has enabled me to finally get my ride on the road and a few new toys installed:

New tires, chrome stocks, drilled rotors, and ceramic pads:

Plus, had a Borla exhaust system put on. This thing really growls now:
