That is some talent on that gingerbread man. They did the movie Optimus as well which takes way more crazy shapes than a G1. That is super cool for sure.

Cool picture Lance!

I have a Gen 1 Shockwave that is killing me because I CAN'T find it at my parent's house. All I found so far is the barrel of the gun... :/

Better find it Ruben! HA! It's awesome to still have things from back when you were a kid. I still have quite a few G1 Transformers myself. Gotta love 'em.

I went to dig out my old ones when I was about 12, and they were nowhere to be found. Just ended up with this:

Shockwave was one of the ones I've always wanted as a kid but never been able to get. Good luck on finding it! I recently found a G1 Blaster at my parents' place and was ecstatic (only to later misplace it somewhere in my house), so I know you will be as well.

Nice find, Dann. I remember Top Spin very well as part of my childhood. Here's someone's pic of the pair of Jumpstarters:

I had Twin Twist too, but only Top Spin survives I think unless my brother has it.

Feel my pain.

I have a few G1's but my most prized would be my complete Terrorcons combiner set that form Abominus. You know, the best would be Shockwave but...

You guys all have me beat though with what you have or had. As much as I loved/love them I didn't have very many. Wheeljack, Sideswipe, Hound, Jetfire, Huffer and Superion are the ones I can remember having at the moment. Haven't got Optimus yet, someday.

Ahhh, I remember getting the Constructicon set for Christmas on year. Sadly, the same day, one of the pieces/tabs broke off from one of the robots.

No relevant Oakley updates so far this year, but all the good Transformers stuff available is just crazy good right now. So hard to choose what to fit in my cases. Just got Masterpiece G2 Sideswipe in, I think his accessories are super awesome, the machine guns, spiked tires and angry face just set him off. Definitely glad I picked it up.

Since we're on the topic of Masterpieces, have we seen MP-21 Bumblebee yet?

Also, it seems I missed out on "Year of the Horse" MP-10, which is too bad since it's my year:

Nice, some cool pictures in this thread. My G1 collection I have is at my parents house, no pictures as they are stored. Off the top I can recall I had the following, all bought new when they came out:
Optimus Prime with trailer
Megatron
Soundwave with ravage and laserbeak
Shockwave
Grimlock and two others dinobots i think
Constructicons-complete
Insecticons-at least one
TrailBlazer
and a couple others I am drawing blanks on if they were mine or my friends.

Is there any hope for non masterpiece editions that are worth owning. I was checking out the toy section, and it seems the most 'transforming' they do is fold in half. The robot configurations looks like a plane with legs standing up.

A lot of the Generations lineup seem to have good feedback on it. I haven't bought anything from that line for a while, however. I tend to stick to the Generation 1 and the Masterpiece line. I like the G1 re-releases. Brings back memories. Predaking is readily available, and so is Fortress Maximus.

I believe the latest update on Masterpiece Bumblebee was an official silhouette of the Masterpiece mold by Takara. No clear pictures have been made available yet.

Yea for modern Transformers of G1 characters Masterpiece is way to go. The generations line is the next best, but the really cool Transformers from that line are at Masterpiece-like prices anyway. Metroplex has been the standout from the Generations line with the upcoming Jetfire the next super highly anticipated toy from that line. There are also some 3rd parties putting out Masterpiece quality Transformers of stuff Takara/Hasbro have not attempted, and they are awesome but the best ones are priced along with the Masterpiece line or even higher.
