Has anyone ever cut down lenses from a typical O Matter frame to fit into an Rx frame? Is that possible? The wrap on the frames makes them look incompatible.

I have never done any cutting lense myself, but an idea just popped into my head. Though it would be sacrelige to cut a vintage m frame heater or slash lens, would the lens possibly be cut down into the size of a zero .3 or .2 lens? It just popped into my head and the prospect of re creating those dennis rodman zero .3's might be possible. I am just wondering if the lenses have similar curvatures and also if the heater or slash would be big enough to cut a zero .3?

oakleyvault.com has the monster pup gold clear irid lens on sale for 20 bucks and thought i'd use it for one of my why 3 frames. Somebody did the mounting for me and due to the curvature of the lenses, the results are as follows:

I tried cutting a pair for my Overlords a few years ago and couldn't get them in easily. What lenses did you start with Josh? I must have used lenses with the wrong curve.

Nope...Close though. Originally grabbed a taco, but that curve was waaaaay off.

This might be the wrong thread, but im assuming the sliver and sliver F have the same lenses, correct? Ill throw the word cut in here to make it applicable :D
