I am championing the cause for the M frame, so it needs it's own thread.I am searching for Red earsocks for M-frame new or old style. Have they ever been seen?

The only pair (newer school) I have ever seen was on a pair of Tyler Hamilton's Pro M's that he wore in the 2003 TdF.

I agree, Scott, M Frames are heavily underrated. Can't help you with the earsocks.

The M-Frames were the first Oakley product I liked when I saw major league baseball players wear them on the field of play, the cool designs and colors of the sunglasses lenses called my attention right away.

I think I mave told this story before, but when I first saw an M-Frame, and at that point I was only familiar with Frogskins and Blades so I had really thought it was a pair of Blades with the standard stem snipped at the end to be straight with a grip tape wrapped around it. Ha. After that I started to get into Oakley and figured it out. They're def a backbone to everything O has done.

Actually I don't really like the styling of the actual m-frame. I love the blade / razorblade and the gen 1 and gen 2 m-frames. It's a shame that they break so easy, they should've rereleased them in the stretchline. I love Toms Crytal Clear M-Frames, I'm sure he'll post them soon.
Yours are also very nice, Josh! But with blue they look better I think ;).

M frames are all i wear(except my wardens for a polarized pair), i love the fit and coverage. As far as red earsocks, i tried dying a white pair with red RIT dye and the color penetrated well but they came out orange, maybe theres a stronger/rubber-silicone specific dye out there that would work better.

Here is part of my collection. I have more lenses then I have frames. So they are paired the way I store them, with 2 or 3 exceptions. I wanted to represent some other lenses I have but don't actually couple with that particular frame. They would be the non iridium lenses you see here and there.

There are no 2 frames alike. The O's and the Earsocks will be the differences.

Thanks Scott for making this thread. It is a beautiful style in form and function. Artist Harmony!!

Wow. That's an amazing lineup.

It's the first time I've seen/heard of Crystal Black new M Frames - is there a story behind them?
