I'm going to St. Louis MO this week and just did a store search at Oakley.com...nothing! UGH It's been a while since I've traveled to a "large" city that didn't have an O-Store or a Vault to visit.

Does anyone know of a unique O-dealer in the area?

The only decent store that I've been to in St. Louis is Big Shark bike shop on the Delmar loop. The last time I was there they had some Mag M-Frames, atomic orange Radars, and some other non black w/gray frames thankfully. Quite a few womens pairs as well too.

What's cool is that they have two Bob torso's wearing jerseys. One is in the corner and is cracked, but the other is up high and it's got an Elvis wig on. If I have time at work I'll post up some pics.

Also, check out the caricature drawings on the window out front. They all are wearing m-frames and have the Icon on the frame. It's funny.

Have a good trip and make sure to check out Forest Park and the beautiful houses along the north side of it.

Great, let me know how the visit goes. It isn't much...but to be honest, there isn't much of anything Oakley in STL, so this is the best I could find.

Nope. BUt if you're driving down, there's one in Annapolis (people are cool there) and there's one in Woodbridge (Pomtomac Mills Outlets) which is right off of 95, as well.

Was down that way couple of months ago but didn't get a chance to hit them up. Went to the Annapolis Vault though.

I am going to Disney in Florida next week. Can any one tell me the best place to get a Oakley fix there. I remember someone on here worked in a shop there, I think.
Thanks!

There is an Oakley store in the airport! Hit it up first before you spend all your money at the parks!

There's a couple vaults (at the outlet malls), and O Store at the airport and the Florida Mall (and I think another one at one of the outlet malls), and a whole slew of OPDS (including on Universal Studio grounds). They love their sunglasses there, so you won't be missing any Oakley while there.

Thanks again Justin. I stopped by Big Shark today in St. Louis. While not a lot of Oakley product it was fun to see the Bob Head with a bicycle jersey and Elvis Wig on it?! They had some Mag M Frames, some electronics...but no deals to speak of. But it is a NICE bike shop for you bikers out there.

I stopped by Haley's Boutique in Bloomington Indiana today. I've been in a lot non-O stores while traveling the USA but this one was, in many ways, more captivating than a regular O store. MANY cases of Oakley products in the store. FILLED with a wide assortment of goods and MANY UNIQUE items. And KNOWLEDGE? Most Oakley employees would be hard pressed to keep up with Brent's. If you are ANYWHERE near Bloomington IN it should be considered mandatory attendance. You will be happy you dropped in.

Thanks for the words guys! Ken is was awesome meeting you yesterday, i really enjoyed our conversations! I wish we would have had all the new stuff done to the store but that just means you will hopefully enjoy your next visit even more. It is gonna be AWESOME by the holidays when everything else gets thinned out! Rock on with the O!!!
Oh, keep me posted on that Glock event too! I mentioned it to my bro and dad and they would love to go!

Pleeeeeeeeease tell me that's $1,400/square foot per YEAR. How on earth could they even attempt to make 2.5 million a month to cover rent alone if it's monthly?

I'm gonna have to do an overnite up to Brent's. He's about 8 hours from me but sounds like a worthy weekend adventure.

Nik, we will get you up here on a good weekend. We are in the process of setting up a killer weekend for the annual little 500 bicycle race with IU. The race weekend will be in Mid April. We are working on having the Rolling O lab in town to and some other cool stuff as well! It will be a killer time and good weekend to be in town for sure. I will keep everyone up to date and hopefully a chunk of our Midwest O bros can maybe make the trip into bloomington!

Justin, that would be yearly and the monthly lease payment would be around $212,000! Freakin crazy!!!!! It might lose money or it might not but when you are making it in other areas it gives the brand itself so much more of a presence to be seen and lead to future sales be it via the website or a local OPD when they go back home.

That sounds awesome Brent! I'll start making plans!

That was my thought as well - being Corporate owned. They aren't presumably expecting to justify the sales out of the store to pay the rent. It's a "bigger picture" thing I'm sure.

Well, been spending time here in boston this past week. got to 3 of the four closest stores.
First at the Pru....not even opened yet, what a let down.

Second at legacy place.....nice place, thier display pieces were awsome and Ian was pretty cool...He says Hi by the way Dann.

Third was Wrentham (spellcheck??).....anyhow, the vault there was decent, had a few good deals on some DE and such. There were also a few good Sig pieces. Louis the Manager was wicked cool, hats off to him. Dann guess I missed you by two weeks there. best of the three stores up here that I went to.
