If you had to mention one, and only one item in your collection, what would it be?

I know this question is hard as a collector, but would be fun to see peoples answers.

My own "jewel" of my collection would be my watch.
I really like my Time Machine.

'Nuff said.

Peace

It changed a lot for a while, but I think I've finally settled on my 1980 Oakley Goggle. Not in great condition, but it has the box, and overall, it's a great piece.

hands down, my initial batch Ruby Juliets, typifies what Oakley really means to me in terms of design

But ofc. its a very nice goggle.

I remember my old Pro Frame Goggle. Loved it. So did my dog.

Jesper, nice to have you as a member of the OR brethren. I'm not sure if you've seen it, but there's a thread similar to this that could be an interesting read.

My jewel is the Emerald Polarized C Wire. It took me years to find one! I was looking for that long before I joined this site.

I'd have to say my low serial MJ Romeo 1. Don't wear them anymore, but they are just awesome glasses.

Dann, glad I could help you find the jewel of your collection. It really humbles me to know that I was instrumental in helping one of the world's foremost authorities on Oakley (and all-around nice guy) find his collection's crown jewel. I'm glad you are still enjoying it. Cheers and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year!

It's always a struggle to answer this, but I think it's the
Petterson Frogskins. Many thanks to Paul.

To choose the Jewel of my Collection.....would have to be what I had: my Ruby Juliets, the ones I'm wearing in my first P.W. pics. They were Soooooooooooooooooo dark, and not a hint of yellow anywhere....I kid you not. But then I lost them when I went pillion on my brothers FireBlade...Doh!

The whole collection is my Jewel or the collection.....

Now without coping out I'd say the TBII, but it is hard to pick out just one.

Maybe the fun thing about this question coming up every now and then is that it affords me to keep picking something different. I'm pretty surprised that OTT or 0.3 hasn't come up yet. It's almost SO hard to choose one jewel, that about the only way to actually pick one is to be somewhat casual about it. The Petterson Frogskin is a great choice, since you know it's the only one of its kind. I guess I would say the 0.3, since it has the rare combination of representing the best of Oakley design along with age that makes me fearful to ever wear it.

I'll second that one Ooogie! The 0.3 is just so out there and screams Oakley design. And it's harder to come by than the OTT (which would probably be in my top 5). I love my polished carbon Ichiro's too, so tough to choose just one...

Like the observation Oogie! Based on that - I'd go with my OTT. I wear it a lot in the summer - anytime I'm out in public - LOVE that thing! Nothing screams Oakley more than Romeo - except OTT. I have my hair cut to fit it.

Where oh where, have my OTT designs gone.... Where, oh where could they be?

Dunno that I'll ever complete the collection of OTT's but... It's still the single one I still really want to complete.

Damn all the other stuff for getting in the way!
