I wish they weren't so incredibly narrow....

I'm not sold on these new colors, but if they were gonna refresh a boot model this one definitely deserves it. I really like this boot a lot, especially the sole design. It wears super light and feels more like a running shoe, not clunky and cloddy like traditional boots. If I were to make one real change to these, it would be to strengthen the lower eyelets. Right now they are just holes in the leather and really need some reinforcement.

The color on the Black model looks okay; not sure if I can say the same for the Coyote or Tan tho. Yikes! But I am encouraged by this release. Maybe we can look forward to some more variations.

I actually like the Coyote/Neon Orange. The Black/Neon Green is cool. Not so sure about the Sage/Neon Light blue though.

I feel old saying this but as the years go on I seem to prefer low tops/cut shoes more and more for everyday wear. I wish they'd release some cool "boots" and shoes in low tops. That Confront shoe that's not on the US oakley.com site is more what I'm talking about.

LOVE the Assault Shoe and Boot. Might have to break the Shoe out again. Don't get me wrong I do like high top boots and even the extra high versions, especially for winter and even fall, just not for everyday wear. Am I getting old?! UGH! LOL!

I like the colorway’s, but agree with Benjamin above. They need to not make them so damn narrow. JMHO:)
