When you watch-O-holics stock up on various O time pieces, do you set the time on yours and let run or leave mot running?

Just curious what the norm is if their is one...Bong?

hehe, well... i used to have them all running until very recently. i'd have to wear both my TimeTanks at least once a week to keep them running but now they're just for display at the moment. i also pulled out the crown on a few watches i don't use much, like the Stainless Steel and the Red Skull Crush. the Torpedo, and the Bullet. those i don't mind not having them running because they're easy to reset. GMT's and Detonators i keep running since they're more involved in setting up the time. does all that make sense? LOL.

so what does this mean? i'll have more time on those short months because i won't be setting dates on half of my watches and i'll still have half a day left on Daylight Saving Days.

Bong, you ain't got no Time Tanks!

I keep my Timebombs rotating in an automatic winder I got off Amazon.com

The rest of my watches do not run when they aren't be used.

Rather than fixing your post, you should just buy a Time Tank so it's true.

I have a watch winder but I only run the timebomb like 3 or 4 days before I plan on wearing it... running it 24/7 just creates wear on the gears.

you guys kill me!
Todd, i'd love to trade in my Mercedes Benz for two TimeTanks, unfortunately Oakley doesn't take in crappy used cars.
Ranger, is that a threat? cos you know, after the one in the PW thread, i'd love to see a dead animal wearing a TimeTank.
Todd B, i would if i could... TimeTanks for everyone!

New question-what is the rarest Watch to collect...aside from the near impossible Gold Timebomb. Is it the emerald timebomb, or the cannon red?
Can anyone hazard a guess?

The Gold Blade seems to be reknowned for it's rareness, though I suspect the rarest will probably be one we've never even heard of before.

I'd go Gold Blade too. Emerald Timebomb does pop up on occasion, but the Gold Blade is impossible to find.

Have to go with the Gold Blade as well....as it was never offered for sale, where as the Gold Timebomb was.

Id also think the Cannon Yellow Timebomb would be harder to get than the Cannon Red

So what WAS the deal with the gold Blade? I've seen pictures of it.. but if it was never offered for sale, what was it? A special item given to someone?

what about the jordon timebomb? they are fairly rare; i dunno if i'd consider them the rarest though.

There is a cannon yellow on ebay with a extremely low serial (#0004). He wants a pretty penny for it though.

Anyone a breitling collector in here?
