So with some exciting upcoming releases(Pit Boss and Jawbone), has your faith been restored?

After hearing about small parts of the trip to HQ, I have full faith that Oakley is still the same company that it was prior to the LUX takeover.
They still seem to be all about fun and having fun with the buyer.

After seeing the Jawbone in person, faith has been restored. It's really going to be huge. Just forget the G26 colorways that first appeared.

Glad to see all the positive reviews about the JB. It certainly has the OR's stamp of approval.

One of the guys won a Polished Black/+Red JB. I'll have no hesitation picking at least that one up.

As someone who openly detested the jawbone...I will have one now! and after trying on the pitboss (and immediately needing a change of shorts) I will have one or more of those...they scream Oakley, true, 1999-"juliet-esque" Oakley!

I don't think there has been this much excitement for Oakley since the first Thump and Romeo 2 were released. I'm very happy about that. Hope they can keep it up.

I too am convinced that Jawbone is a sick piece. The Positive Red and Black was breathtaking! Such a beautiful piece in person and is not just a sports piece by any means. Plus, it has the best Oakley optics to date!!

I also second Dustin's opinion of Pit Boss. While I am not going to be super quick to rush out and chunk down $600 for any eyewear, seeing it in person completely changed my perspective of at least one colorway. It is larger than the Monster Pup but still very similar in shape and the stems are aggressive. It is a nice look all around.

Totally agree - both are a must have. Suddenly $600 bucks doesn't seem like so much.

Oakley could give me back the 2 years i wasted working for them.

And they could also dump Ryan Sheckler. That would help.

Maybe we can start a petition abt giving those 2 years back ...seems only fair...I am happy people's faith is restored ...and everyone is entitled to their opinion but 600 for glasses is not within my reach..even buying the $200 Clear Rigs I ended up selling because they did nothing to protect from sun was a dumb move..give me more Five 4.0 Colorways ..maybe a new MD Colorway or SJ

Interesting little editorial about Oakley becoming boring after the Luxx takeover:

Another great find, you should have the The Finder or something similar as your title, would suit you well.

Here's another editorial from them:

The interesting thing is the comment left by one of the readers.

Despite the lack of grammar/spelling... somehow... the articles seem to illustrate their points well.

Well, they don't completely bash the company. It's more of a plea than a complaint.

I think so too, Yukio. I think a lot of us have been feeling the same way for the last few years. However, things are looking up and a lot of us are excited again.
