O_taj1242, looks like the Bugs glasses are limited to 200. The booklet that comes with the glasses number them (picture was pulled off of IG):

The Morpheus is numbered to 3,000. I'm trying to find out the others, but I would expect them to be in the 200 or less range as well since most of them are pretty expensive.

Here’s my Morpheus glasses I bought. I was sitting one day thinking man it been had Oakley made a pair like this. Well, it hit me so I got someone to listen to my idea and he loved it.

Morpheus #0154/3000 now has Prizm Ruby Polarized lenses. Morpheus shades on Steroids.

Looks like we're serial number neighbors. I got #155 of the Morpheus. Beautiful custom, BTW!

SILMO Paris is occurring this weekend, and the SILMO d’or awards were passed out. Typically I don’t care about the awards since their idea of innovative and award-worthy is very different from my POV. Still, I was intrigued by their acknowledgement of a brand called Out Of as the best in sports eyewear.

For those who don’t know, Out Of makes simple eyewear infused with carbon and Grilamid to make what they claim as the lightest sports glasses in the world at 16.8g. They weigh their Piuma glasses against other brands (including Oakley’s) in a video here:

https://out-of.com/en/piuma-performance-sunglasses-with-the-one-nero-lens

They also take shots at over-the-top designs such as Oakley:

I’m still not interested in the brand too much, since I do like detailed design work in my glasses, but I thought an award to them was interesting.

Well the taking shots at brands isn’t cool. Let your product speak for itself. If it’s good then there’s no need to say anything. Well not about or towards anyone else at least. Just my two cents. LOL

So the glasses from Yeezy is finally coming:

https://yeezy.com/

Originally meant for Gap, Kanye’s now releasing it himself. It’s meant to be cheap and flexible (rumour is $20 price point, which would be surprising and great). I’ll get one for fun either way:

Car brands are doing some interesting stuff with eyewear. Maybach is doing cool things, even if their designs are derivative. Mclaren Vision is another exciting brand. It is licensed and manufactured by L’Amy. Mclaren’s initial offering a few years ago was cool because of their 3D printed titanium annd interesting hinge mechanism on some models.

They recently released a limited edition (limited to 25 pieces worldwide) for £5,000. It is basically a 3D printed unibody frame. They claim it is the first titanium eyewear frame 3D printed as one piece. Not exactly an exciting claim, but the piece does look like a cool sculpture:

The sculpted-ness reminds me of the stuff Oakley used to do on their wires (minus the floating lenses). Interesting stuff. Spectacle Factory in the UK got #1/25 and was sold to someone in Belgium. #2 is still available, I think.

Hot on the heels of JF Rey’s Ludens Mask is Parasite Eyewear’s Arcade. Manufactured using 3D printing, it is another eyewear that’ll make you look like a superhero:

Japan manufactures the best titanium eyewear I've ever had the chance of wearing. For those interested in eyewear and consider it a hobby, this is fun reading:

Found these for $3 while on vacation. They are an exact replica for kids, so much so that they make me want to buy a matching pair.
