The nose piece hides behind the lens right? Wonder what the other versions gonna look like

They might being back the signature series and market that version at the Mahomes Edition

It'll be interesting to see them in person to see how they look and feel. I think having another lens variation with more of a Mumbo trailing lens edges would look cool.

There are actually 3 different versions. The nose/beak looking thing is only on the Athlete version as I believe it had to be 3d mapped to each individuals face.

Hard to say. These were all supposed to be Olympic related and with the Olympics pushed back to 2021 its hard to say what will happen. Its my understanding that putting one on Mahomes was a last minute decision. To be honest im willing to bet at some point Dann gets ask to delete this thread or at least the images.

The designer is a comic fan and with the popularity of Marvel movies in the last decade drew inspiration from Bruce Lee's portray of the Kato character from the Green Hornet.

Patient_Cero. DERP !! I was half way there but I should have gone the extra step to look up what Kato looked like in the show. If I had just taken a moment to look it would have made immediate sense. That's pretty cool. Be interesting to see them when they come out.

This is a release that I’m looking forward to, especially the Kato X, and I’ll most likely buy a pair if I like how they fit. And I do hope that they make the athlete into a regular production release, because that “beak” is pretty damned cool.

On a side note, I wish they incorporated more usage of the snow black lens, because I think that would make this build so much cooler. I love that ~6% VLT on the road, in my clifden. But I digress.

I LOVE everything about them! The name is great, and so cool Bruce Lee's character was the inspiration. They look crazy and the "athlete" version is the only one worth buying in my opinion because of the uniqueness of them with the part that goes over the noes. Curious to see what this 3rd version is though. I'd get the Prizm road, sapphire and 24K!

Curious to see how the nose piece attaches to the lens... is it glued on since there are no exterior attachments (screws or rivets) on the outside of the lens? Unless there is a thin part of the frame on the top or bottom that would hold it that we can't see from the pics.

Looks like the Kato and Kato X are incoming. Seems like people can order them from Sunglass Hut at the store right now according to Reddit.
