Guys, I need ideas for unique and cool desk chairs. My wife stole my old chair for her home office, which gives me an opportunity to update my office seating.

The below is what I’m considering but I’m looking to see what else is out there.

Pitstop Furniture F08000R:

Respawn 205:

These are also very cool but not sure about them:

Aviator-inspired desk chair:

Regal Robot Emperor chair:

For context, my current desk is similar to this:

Oak you don't need all that edgy nonsense. Just get a basic chair.

Has to be the aviator egg chair

The Aviator looks cool, but I question the lack of lower back support.
The Respawn looks cool, but other than some cute red panels, it’s kinda generic.
Pitstop has sufficient bling to compliment your desk, with enough unique features to keep your interest.

You’re right, Dave. I sat in one of the aviator egg chairs and it’s more of a short term reading chair than a true office chair because of its lack of ability to recline, move up/down, no arm rest, lack of head/lumbar support, etc. but it looks just so cool which is why it’s in consideration. It’s like one of the ejection chairs. Looks super cool but essentially useless as true furniture. One of my buddies has something similar to this:

Another one I’m considering in passing is the Cluvens Scorpion Cockpit chair. Probably not feasible or realistic as office decor, but it’s just so cool:

I have to go with the Pitstop chair. But the Ejector seat and Scorpion chair is pretty cool.

My son has a Respawn and loves it. I like it a lot myself and have thought about ordering one when the price is decent on amazon.

I've always liked the aviator egg chair just think it's cool for a number or reasons. Never tried one though so if you're looking for something that you'll be sitting in for hours at a time at a desk then maybe from what it sounds like that may not be the one. It does look like more of a casual chair, something you sit in and get comfortable for watching movies or reading. Doesn't seem like a "work" chair. I'm not sure I've seen it at the aviator desk in photos I've seen either. Usually it's featured by itself and not at a desk. The one below is the one I've seen at the desk.

Scorpion chair is crazy cool and I always love Ejectors but again for working at a desk I think the Respawn or Pitstop Chair would be best.

Power Seats is crazy awesome and also stupid expensive (as expected). Their chairs are based on the seats of luxury cars like Rolls Royce. $6k+ will get you plush chairs like these:

I could use one of these if money wasn't an option......Who am I kidding? If I had this much disposable income, I'd buy more Oakley glasses.

Also, if you all know of any aesthetically cool gaming mouses, please let me know. I’m looking more for aesthetics than functionality right now. I really like the Mad Catz R.A.T stuff, but they’re all wired. I’m looking for wireless ones (with Bluetooth capability being a bonus).

I currently use the following two that I found in Amazon. I like the sci fi look of them:

I'm always looking at ergonomics and practicality first when it comes to office furniture.
But that first powerseat looks like I could spend hours and hours in it.
Now if they could offer a vented or A/C version, that would be even better.

I'm sure that Rick would appreciate an Audi one.

I don't have any chair or desk suggestions, but I did just order these mouses off of Amazon for their aesthetics. I don't know yet how they compare to the higher end performances of the Razer, Utech, or MadCatz offerings. But the designs were pretty cool to me, so I thought I would take a shot.

The first one is branded Inphic, and the second is YTFU.

The Aviator chair looks cool, but I don't think it can implement your lumbar support. You will be very uncomfortable in such a chair. The Respawn looks cool, but besides some friendly red panels, it seems ordinary. The Pitstop has enough chic to complement your desk, but it looks weird for the office. You might want to look at other options because it's about your health. When choosing a chair for my desk from the Eureka Ergonomic website, I considered making sure it was comfortable and fit well. I found the right chair, and I'm sure you can too.

The Pitstop chair is really cool. Some of the components are cheap, but it looks cool. Not very comfortable however. I have gone through testing 8 chairs in the two years and I conclude the thread with this advice: Go with something from Secretlab, noblechairs or Herman Miller. Perhaps these brands are not the most stunning in terms of aesthetic, but they are functionally perfect for me.
