It's just a waiting game.
All that stuff will be half price in 6 months (and will still be outrageously expensive). Nobody's probably buying at full price. - BiGCoB
True. It's the best thing to do to save some cash. Unfortunately though in North America stuff like this seems more difficult to find other places rather than oakley.com. In my experience though if you do find it the sizes are limited and you have to order it online from a store overseas somewhere. Which is hit or miss with the shipping fees. Right now the tariffs are killing that. I bought something off of ebay recently. It was $15. I forgot all about the tariffs. After I committed to buy it I remembered and tried to find out how much the tariff would be on my $15 item. I didn't get any solid/specific info. Maybe I didn't try hard enough to find out. I kept thinking how bad could it be? I got a message from UPS saying the "import" fee was $30. I friggin paid $50 for a $15 item. The item retailed for $30 but I got it for $15 ($20 with the seller's shipping fee) - so I paid the seller's shipping fee and import fees. So much for trying to save a few bucks. The bright side is it wasn't easy to find - so at least I was able to track one down and purchase it.
