I can't remember if I started a thread (which I then knit into a lovely sweater) about this before, but I heard a rumor a while back about an update to the timebomb. Anybody have any info on this?

I should probably start another thread for this (but I have enough sweaters already), but since we're on the topic of watches, what's the latest sitch on the King and Queen?

No Time Bomb 2.0, but rather a replacement. Its called Tank, should be coming out soon.

Does that mean we will see an official price reduction on the time bomb?

So we are talking about the official "Oakley" price point of $1,500 and not the "everywhere else" price point of $500? Hey a man can dream cant he

unfortunately....I want one so bad. Then I can send in my TB for a few crystal and retire it to the display.

I heard $1700. If it's coming soon, I guess I just didn't save my money fast enough.

But how soon is soon? I'm glad to hear that it's being kept more or less in the TB price range!

so am i Dan. however, priced at $1700 or at $3000, it doesn't matter to me because i can't make money fast enough to buy such a watch, let alone saving money fast enough.

still... i'm very excited!

I hear ya bong! I've actually gone a little overboard lately. So if the Tank comes out soon, I might not be touching one for a while either.

But bong you'll find a way sooner rather than later...because you are the watch guru!!

I could sell my car to get a Tank watch which I think might work out since the allure of the watch would help get people to stop when I am hitch-hiking to work!

LOL... yeah, maybe i'll find a way to get the Tank. geez, we've not even seen photos of the darn thing yet!

That's probably a smart thing to do.

I do think having a Time Bomb in the collection is a bonus. No matter what comes out from here on, I do think the Time Bomb is a legendary piece of Oakley history to have. But that's just my opinion.

It will not be called the Tank as that name is copyrighted by Cartier. I have not heard the official name yet. Price point similar to Icons.

ooh... price point similar to Icon, that makes it even cheaper than Timebomb!?
*drool*

and yeah, totally agree with you there Dan. the Timebomb is legendary... any Oakley collection would benefit from it.

Yay, it's only $1,300 now, I'll take three.

Icon or Icon Small, The regular Icon's were the same as Time Bombs I thought. And the steel TB's were the same as Icon Small's. Guess we'll have to wait.

Guess it's better than 1700. This sounds like something I'd have to throw on a CC and slowly pay off....but it must be done!
