The first thing that came to mind - the Chevy Avalanche was ahead of its time!

I am enamoured with the 2020 Corvette Stingray. Price-point is excellent:

Well, time to add one! It’ll look good next to that Denali.

Yep, everything about the car is very untraditional for a Corvette, including the mid-engine. But I suppose that’s part of the attraction. I don’t follow car forums, but I can imagine the purists being unhappy it looks more like a Ferrari than a traditional Corvette.

Yes, the stylists got it right!
We know they can knock the dynamics out of the park...

I like it overall, but the air intakes on the sides just look off visually. The angle or something in contrast to the rest of the lines. As far as the performance, I'm holding out to see how many real world users get twisted frames or electrical fires before I make a final judgement.

Once they start getting track and drag strip time from people modding we'll see how good Chevy remedied problems as recent as 6 months ago. That's way to short of time to "fix" such issues for a complete platform redesign to be reliable in my opinion. Going to drive the C7 and C6 used market through the roof if they start having issues early on. Not to mention their first true attempt at a dual clutch based car.

You’re going to want the Z51 package, which offers “improved cooling”...Chev knows better than most about heat mis-management.

It does seem a little off aesthetically but I still like it as well. I do like that it's different. Starting under 60K? REALLY?!

My dad ,who is a huge Corvette guy, (he has a current gen c6 or 7 I can't remember but I think it's a 7) hates it for that exact reason.

I think this is a improvement on the Corvette.
My opinion on the Corvettes is that they have been way to similar since the late 80's and this is the breath of fresh it needs to be relevant.

A lot of people seem to hate Acura’s aesthetics over the last 10+ years, but I’ve been fine with it. Not as exciting as some other brand but certainly not horrible either. But then again, my first vehicle was an Acura Integra, so I have an affinity for the brand.

The return of the Type S badging and the reveal of the future TLX should solve some of those issues. Beautiful car:

Did you know Dyson wanted to build its own EV? I didn’t. Apparently they’re backing out of that plan since EVs are easy to make and there would be too much competition for them to be able to differentiate themselves:

EVs will no doubt dominate the industry once price comes down and there is suitable infrastructure. Much like how quartz changed the watch industry and became dominant. Still I think in 20-30 years’ time after EVs become the vehicle for everyday use, I think ICEs will be looked upon fondly and be appreciated for its craftsmanship. Much like how mechanical watches has gotten love over the last 25 years even though they are inferior to their quartz counterparts.

Quite obviously NOT mine, but "local", and one (at least ;-)) Ford can be proud of.

By now everyone’s seen and talked about the Tesla Cybertruck. Love the capabilities and price point, hate the aesthetics:

I know it’s obviously inspired by Blade Runner and the other ‘80s sci fi movies, but I didn’t think the inspiration would be so direct and literal.

Holy crow. One of my dream cars, the 1967 Mustang Eleanor “hero” car from the Gone in 60 Seconds movie, is for sale. I don’t know how much the owners are asking for it, but it’s a guarantee it’s many times above my budget:
