Funny how the tags "meterosexual" and "bachelor" are attached to the O-Review.

If anything, it should be a cautious tale to some members who might be going that way...

Sometimes it helps to relax a bit and step back to see whats important in your life.

Can't we add it to the Review? Like the photo's on a pack of cigarettes? It's not like anyone's gonna pay attention...we'll continue our quest for 'Collector of the Month' anyway! :-)

To keep a roof under his head, he had to sell every piece of Oakley he owned.
So, no problem there for me, I don't want a roof under my head.

what lot of cr@p.
i mean, collector of the month ? i have been here almost a year and never saw that.
second, i do know for self experience spending to much on the O.
i mean you have to keep your priority straight.
most of us have spend more time in here than we should.
getting our self in trouble with the wife, girlfriend,or family or partner.

Yes do we guys spend a lot on oakley, yes.
are we all going to get poor, or homeless, i think not.
look at chris, biggist collection in here has shares and he has a corvette and a big house which has a big basement which he has his big collection in there.

this may be true. but i think it is not entirely true.

metrosexual ? please.

if we sny metro sexuals in here , gr8.
but i do not consider my self one. i try to take care of my self.

i think that article should be edited.
also who wrote it, a former member, a current memeber, or some one who have heard about this gr8 community.

i mean we share our passion our life's in here. we make friends.

again, i think the persons in charge of this site should ge this person attention.

my opinion.

The only Tim I can think of are Tim Sparra and Tim Munkfish, and I know its not Sparra.

Tim is probably a banned member, a joke or a member who never posted, theres a lot of them.

Not only his membership was fictional. I look at the story as good commedy, a bit of exagerating (spelled right?) to make a point. Nothing more, nothing less.

yeah, it was all tongue in cheek, and pretty good tongue in cheek to be quite honest. Although, Sargassum did come to mind as I read through it.

I know we have a few members that may be unfamiliar with some English idioms, so just in case: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tongue-in-cheek

Marcel, personally I don't think you could offend anyone even if you tried. We all pretty much get that you never mean any harm with your posts. Damnit, you are a very nice guy so don't fear.

The size of the collection does not mean anything here, only a few care about that sort of stuff, clearly not the goal or spirit of this site...

The person who submitted that entry was obviously trying to establish a mix of factuality and humor.
