That's cool!

This pendant lamp from Ikea has been around for a while, but they are so cool. I installed one over the weekend, and it looks amazing, even if not as bright as I usually like due to holding only one bulb. Can transform from a contained globe into an exploded view:

Kamado grills are awesome. I recently bought a new Weber grill but was delivered a Kamado grill by mistake. I had them take it back, but I was loving the look of it (though stupid heavy at over 250 lbs.). Green Egg and Kamado Joe seem them most popular brands, and I’ll be getting one next year even only to use as a charcoal smoker:

It's very likely that I will, but I'm still deciding. I'm needing more of a charcoal smoker than a grill, since I've already got a Weber grill I really like. BGE and Kamado Joe can be smokers (as could any grill), but I'm deciding whether getting a dedicated smoker like the one below would be a better option:

I've had the 18 inch version for quite a few years now. Weber is great - quality products and quite possibly the best customer support I've ever interacted with.

I have a friend with a BIG GREEN Egg and he loves it. I also have another friend who loves his Traeger and smokes with it all the time.
