I was real excited to get this Easy Jacket in my cart on the first day, but then I went to log in and checkout when the site crashed. By the time it got back to the point I could even load a page up, stock on them was gone. I ended up getting a few things for my wife, which I'll probably try to hide until Christmas. Yep, apparently the online site is done for.

I had this idea that it would be interesting if Oakley turned the Vault site into something else, like a platform for new releases, exclusives, member contests and what not. When I heard the Vault site was closing I thought maybe it was headed in that direction. But I noticed today that the vault site url I saved on, like, four devices, is now just a sub of Oakley main. All the links take me to the corresponing pages in the main site. Welp ... that dream died!

With Type O also dying I don't know if anything like that is planned at the moment.

Madman was on DE. I didn't even bother to check the price correctly. $319, I think? /sigh
