I want to make fun of it. But then it also reminds me of an oversized shield Breadbox. After an initial 'bleh' reaction, I ended up loving me a good Breadbox. So who knows.

I'm on the fence right now. I will admit that at first I also thought it was maybe a woman's frame. I do think it actually looks better on seabass and I kinda like the clear color-way.

I would never be able to pull that one off. Maybe one day when I start surfing I'll pick up a pair

I can't... they look so cartoon'ish. If you can pull these off, much respect to you.

So it's basically a Shield Frogskin. Looks like the photos finally hit the social media circuits where people are a little less reserved. It's painful reading the comments.

I'm surprised it'll be a special order only pair with so many colourways offered.

I can see these being collector's items in 30 years. Kids will look back and say "That's crazy, I can't believe people wore that kinda stuff back then", much like what eyewear collectors say about stuff from the '70s and '80s. The aforementioned keyhole nosebridge on a shield is pretty unique. Personally, I'll gladly pass on these and leave it for everyone else to enjoy.

That matte uranium/jade colorway is awesome, not so sure about the frame at this point...It would be nice to see this combo as a refresh on current frames that have yet to see this colorway.

As a side note, I feel like a T-Pain or Lil Jon signature series is in the works with this one.

The Dual lens version which shares the same stems has a Matte Uranium/Emerald colorway. A little less flashy, but same general idea.
