It's a Zelda 2: Adventure of Link gold cartridge in the pic, but you actually get the original Legend of Zelda gold cart as part of the package.

I'm getting one just for the novelty of it.

Nice. I have this one since it plays NES and SNES and accepts the standard controller connections if you had the originals and didn't want to use the included ones.

But I think this one will be nice just due to the properly licensed games included. There have been many like this before, but there's only so many atari asteroid clones that can prove interesting.

Speaking of which, Sega may be out of the console business but it would be amazing if they copied the idea and make a miniature version of the Genesis. I haven't play Sonic in 20 years.

I never thought to look into consoles like this. I've been using software emulators for years. They have their advantages, but the games can be buggy and are tempermental with multiple players. This on the other hand is a really good idea. Probably would make it more fun just to play.

60$ isn't bad but I hope someone hacks it and allows for an sd card or something to put more games on. I just emulate on a rasberrypi. That mini NES would be cool just for a raspberry pi case.

I hope they do this with the SNES. That was my favorite system so much so that I took an snes controller and made a usb mod for it. Those games are still great.

I've seen that one at Bed Bath and Beyond once upon a time and it's passable, but I was referring more to a miniature replica of the Model 1 Genesis, like the one above was a miniature replica of the NES. I would love that novelty factor in something like this, otherwise I'd prefer the original console and cartridge for the nostalgia factor.

Price hasn't been announced yet. The rumour is $300-400 but it may be a little longer before it's officially announced.

It looks cool. I don't really do mobile gaming like that, but I am sure it will change things big time for real gamers. It looks like mini cartridges is the new medium.
